A review meeting regarding preparations for the Chief Minister Punjab Youth Games 2026 was held at the DC Office,

presided over by Raja Haider Abbas, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Municipal Services) of Mandi Bahauddin. The meeting was attended by Chief Executive Officer (Education) Madam Nuzhat Kulsoom Shahzadi Janjua, District Education Officer Hafiz Ikramullah Tarar, Begum Sharafat Ali, and other relevant officials. The District Sports Officer briefed the attendees on arrangements, registration, and the various sports competitions. It was stated that online registration for the Youth Games is open until September 30, 2026, while sports trials will commence on September 27. The event will feature competitions across 19 different sports, with participation open to students from schools, colleges, registered madrasas, private schools, and special education institutions. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Municipal Services) Raja Haider Abbas directed the heads of all educational institutions to ensure maximum student registration, noting that the Youth Games would provide an excellent platform for young people to showcase their talents. He added that online registration can be completed at youthgames.punjab.gov.pk.
